Restored Vintage Chanel circa 1972
It was so incredible to stumble upon this gorgeous blouse. Unfortunately It had been neglected and had a bad tear underarm. Since it was a free gift I decided I had to use my sewing/embroidery skills to at least try to bring it back to it's former fabulousity 😊.
I had to use a reinforcement fabric and extensive sewing by hand but the results are great and I should be able to enjoy this beautiful blouse for many years Hashem willing.
Vintage fashion is wearable history so saving it from the landfill feels great .
