My Flax seed oil and tomato based natural skin care .

Image
Hi everyone it has been a while and I have been busy B"H with only good things 😊. Today I will be sharing a beauty/health tip that is perfect for Summer. At 42 years old I am happy to report minimum skin damage in terms of fine lines and deep wrinkles . (I admit I'm not a big water drinker but the Texas heat is slowly curing me of this very bad habit and I am gradually improving my ways). My 2 mainstay skin care products don't come from the drugstore ! As a brightening booster I use fresh tomato juice, I cut up a salad i save a piece and mash it into my face in circular motion . Then after I rinse I apply a totally underrated oil (when it comes to beauty and skin car): good old flaxseed oil. I get my Organic flaxseed oil from trader Joe's, I keep it in the fridge and it keeps beautifully for months . The Flaxseed oil can either be taken orally (only small quantities or it can make stools too soft) or applied to the skin to reap multiple health benefits. He

A favorite Quiche recipe

Crustless Spinach, Onion and Feta Quiche creation of the day πŸ˜‹ I’m a big fan of savory comfort foods and this Spinach, Onion and Feta Crustless Quiche is really good. It is very easy to make so a little chef can help as a activity 😊… plus, it reheats well in the microwave! (Only If you must I am not a fan of microwaved food ) Add a salad for a quick light lunch or dinner! Most time consuming part of this is the spinach bug check but if you buy the bodek kind you are good to go . Ingredients 1 large yellow medium onion plus a small red onion , diced 1 bag of fresh Baby Spinach , checked for bugs ! ( Bodek or checked by daylight or kosher bug lamp checker ) 4 large eggs 1 1/2 cup flour or matza meal on Pesach 1 tbs coconut amnios or soy sauce 1/2 tsp baking powder pinch cayenne pepper (optional) 1 1/1cups non fat milk 1 1/2 cup feta cheese Directions Preheat oven to 400F Lightly grease a 10-inch quiche/tart pan (or a pie plate) In a medium frying pan, he

Shaitel hair revival RX

Hi, Today I will share with you how I keep my wigs looking awesome for as long as possible. For years I have been using a Dominican hair care product called silicone mix, this conditioner and shampoo does a amazing job at filling the cuticle and restoring wig hair😊 . I use something called the boiling method, yup boiling ! Learning this deep conditioning technique will save you from unnecessary tangling and will extend the life of your wig. First make sure your wig is well brushed and tangle free. After that is done all you will need is a large pot and some Silicon Mix. Silicon mix is a crΓ¨me base deep conditioner. The cost of this product is cheap , and you can find it at most beauty supply stores where African American products are sold or Amazon. **Important: this product doesn’t necessarily have the best smell but it is not horrible. I find it can be a little on the strong side so just add your favorite conditioner or styling product when it’s time to style. I personally

It was so incredible to stumble upon this gorgeous blouse. Unfortunately It had been neglected and had a bad tear underarm. Since it was a free gift I decided I had to use my sewing/embroidery skills to at least try to bring it back to it's former fabulousity 😊. I had to use a reinforcement fabric and extensive sewing by hand but the results are great and I should be able to enjoy this beautiful blouse for many years Hashem willing. Vintage fashion is wearable history so saving it from the landfill feels great . Have a lovely weekend ! Shabbat Shalom Xoxo FFM 😘
